TERZO PAESAGGIO

Terzo paesaggio è un progetto sulla natura.
Sono i luoghi abbandonati dall'uomo. Sono spazi piccoli e diffusi, quasi invisibili. Si trovano ai bordi delle strade, tra la campagna coltivata e la città, tra un appezzamento di terreno coltivato e l'altro, dove è difficile arrivare con le macchine agricole.
Sono spazi abbandonati dall'uomo perchè non ritenuti interessanti. Sono residui, aree industriali dismesse, aiuole spartitraffico, spazi piccoli e diffusi dove crescono rovi e sterpaglie ma che presi nel loro insieme sono fondamentali per la conservazione della diversità biologica.
L'idea di un nesso tra ecologia ed estetica della natura mi ha sempre affascinato e penso che la relazione del paesaggio con la "vita interiore" è l'aspetto più nobile del piacere che la natura ci offre.
La dicitura "Terzo paesaggio" è stata usata per la prima volta da Gilles Clément, docente presso l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles e scrittore.

Terzo paesaggio is a project about nature.
They are places abandoned by man. They are small and widespread spaces, almost invisible. They are found at the edges of the roads, between the cultivated countryside and the city, between one plot of cultivated land and another, where it is difficult to reach with agricultural machinery.
They are spaces abandoned by man because they were not considered interesting. They are residues, disused industrial areas, traffic islands, small and widespread spaces where brambles and scrub grow but which, taken as a whole, are fundamental for the conservation of biological diversity.
The idea of a connection between ecology and the aesthetics of nature has always fascinated me and I think that the relationship of the landscape with the "inner life" is the noblest aspect of the pleasure that nature offers us.
The term "Terzo paesaggio" was used for the first time by Gilles Clément, professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles and writer.
